Perry Monastero has over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience designing strategies and delivering market research findings. Monastero launched his consulting firm to leverage his expertise in philanthropy, campaign building, nonprofit governance, and strategic planning to help organizations sustainably expand their capacity. Early in his career, he served in enrollment management, competitive research, and consulting roles at the University of Pennsylvania and Saint Leo University after getting his start at Burson, a national public relations firm.

As a pioneer employee, Monastero helped build the administrative systems for what became the nation’s fourth largest private funder (Wellspring Philanthropic Fund). As the inaugural executive director of an LGBTQ focused community funder, he oversaw their programming, fundraising and grantmaking work and exponentially grew funding of its Racial Equity Initiative at the Philadelphia Foundation. He then led the development and marketing teams at one of the nation’s leading LGBTQ medical, legal, and social service organizations (Mazzoni Center) to help them substantially grow their revenue and strengthen branding during a period of rapid and significant organizational expansion.
